We operate in two distinct roles with respect to your data:

  2. Data Processor: For the data you, our customer, store or process on our hosting infrastructure (e.g., the content of your website, your end-users’ data). In this case, you are the Data Controller, and we act solely on your instructions as the Data Processor, subject to our Hosting Agreement/Terms of Service.

5. Data Processing for Our Clients’ Hosted Data (Our Role as Data Processor)

For data that you, as our hosting client, store on our servers (Customer Content Data), we are a Data Processor.

  • Controller Responsibilities: You, our client, are the Data Controller for this data and are responsible for:
    • Determining the lawful basis for processing your end-users’ data.
    • Complying with all GDPR requirements related to your end-users, including obtaining necessary consent and responding to their data subject requests.
  • Processor Responsibilities: Our processing is governed by the terms of our Hosting Agreement/Terms of Service, and we are committed to:
    • Processing the data only on your documented instructions.
    • Ensuring the confidentiality of the personal data.
    • Implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.

6. Disclosures of Your Personal Data

We may share your personal data with the following parties for the purposes set out in Section 4:

  • Internal Third Parties: Other companies within our corporate group, acting as Data Processors or joint controllers.
  • External Third Parties (Data Processors):
    • Service providers (e.g., payment gateways for processing transactions, fraud prevention services).
    • IT and system administration services (e.g., data centre providers, backup services).
    • Professional advisors (e.g., lawyers, accountants, insurers).

  • Domain Registrars: If you register a domain name through us, we share your data with the relevant domain name registry/registrar as required.
